Reuters reported the information.
“It is huge pressure on Russia. That's the biggest pressure you can put on them,” Wright said.
According to him, U.S. sanctions on Russian oil are a very real possibility, and today the U.S. is "able to do things we couldn’t do before."
“The U.S. is the world's top producer of oil and gas, a position Wright said means the U.S. can take action that was previously unthinkable,” Reuters writes.
- On July 21, Republican Senator Lindsey Graham assured that U.S. President Donald Trump plans to impose tariffs on countries that buy Russian oil — China, Brazil, and India.
