Oil and Tomahawk missiles
In the price of oil, we always count on a drop in Russian revenues
We pay much less attention to what happens when these revenues fall. And what happens is this: the revenues of U.S. and EU companies grow.
This week, Reuters published data on the revenues of leading companies for Q3, and they grew by 61%!
Specifically:
- Exxon (U.S.) +34% to $1.84 billion;
- Chevron (U.S.) +54% to $1.13 billion;
- Totalenergies (France) +76% to $687 million;
- Shell (Britain) +466% to $550 million.
There are two reasons for this: Ukraine's strikes on Russian refineries and Trump's sanctions.
I constantly repeat that we need to understand Trump to start speaking correctly. This data is the best argument for why Ukraine should be given Tomahawks. After all, thanks to this, we will take out even more oil refineries, and Western companies will have even more revenue.
