European Pravda reported the information.

The EU Committee of Permanent Representatives (Coreper) is set to hold an extraordinary meeting in Brussels on Sunday, July 13, where ambassadors will review the proposed 18th EU sanctions package targeting Russia and address the implications of new U.S. tariffs on EU goods.

A European official familiar with the meeting preparations said that the agenda includes both the sanctions package and the U.S. announcement of 30% tariffs on European exports.

“The Coreper meeting will start at 3:30 p.m. Brussels time (4:30 p.m. Kyiv time),” the official said. “The two main topics are the 18th sanctions package against Russia and the U.S. decision to impose 30% tariffs on European products.”

The official noted that the issue of U.S. tariffs and broader economic relations with Washington had already been raised on Friday, July 11, and would continue to be discussed during Sunday's meeting.

Regarding the sanctions, the primary focus will be on the oil price cap. The European Commission has proposed making the cap dynamic — adjusting automatically based on changes in global oil prices.
