Biden shared his opinion when asked whether Russia's war against Ukraine, already nearing its 18-month point, could drag on for years.
"I think that eventually there will be circumstances in which President Putin decides that it is not in Russia's interest to continue this war, economic, political or otherwise, but I can’t predict exactly how that happens," Biden said.
He added that the war is already lost for the Russian president.
"Putin has already lost the war. Putin has a real problem," Biden said.
