Russia's state budget is starting to crack at seams - Ukraine's diplomat Ohryzko

Ukraine's diplomat and Minister of Foreign Affairs in 2007-2009, Volodymyr Ohryzko, believes that by the end of the year there will be a hole in the Russian budget that will no longer be filled

He said this to the Espreso TV channel.

"The Kremlin gives out the desired for the reality. Even Russian economists say that the Russian economy has time until the end of this year to avoid sinking. This is because the wallet that Putin has been boasting about for several years in a row, naming $500 billion, today amounts to $150 billion. But these figures are also exaggerated," Ohryzko emphasized.

According to the diplomat, Russia's state budget is beginning to crack at the seams.

"If we take into account that the Russian state budget is beginning to crack at the seams because oil and gas revenues have fallen by half, it is clear that by the end of the year there will be a hole in the Russian budget that will no longer be filled," Ohryzko added.
