Russia's night attack on Kherson kills one, injures at least 7
On the night of Monday, August 7, Russian troops struck the downtown of Kherson three times. As a result of hitting residential buildings, a woman died, and at least seven other people were injured

On August 7, around 00:05, Russian troops shelled Kherson city once more. The projectiles hit both a private house and an apartment building, causing fires.
A woman lost her life under the debris of a private house.
At least seven citizens were also injured during the nighttime shelling of the city. More information will be provided about their condition.
Oleksandr Prokudin, the head of the Kherson regional military administration, also talked about the attack on Kherson. He mentioned that due to the shelling, eight residents were diagnosed with a situational neurotic reaction, and one person with mobility challenges was taken to the hospital.
While trying to extinguish a fire caused by the enemy's strike, two rescuers got injured. They were taken to the hospital due to overheating of their bodies. After half an hour, the shelling continued, resulting in the death of a 59-year-old woman and a 60-year-old man getting injured by an artillery shell that hit their house.
Around 03:15, the Russian army attacked the same house again, injuring a 93-year-old woman who was taken to the hospital with mine-explosive injuries and contusions.
On Sunday, August 6, Olhivka, another settlement of the Kherson region was also attacked by Russian terrorists. Two women aged 77 and 73 were injured as a result of the shelling.
