Russia's losses over one day of war against Ukraine: 560 soldiers, 14 armored vehicles and 11 drones

The total combat losses of the enemy from 24.02.22 to 28.07.23 were approximately:

General Staff report: Russia throws newly mobilized soldiers into assaults at the front

In the morning report of July 28, the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine reports that the Russian occupation forces continue to throw newly mobilized soldiers into combat without prior combat training

Thus, in the village of Rohove, Luhansk region, about 110 mobilized servicemen arrived from the territory of the Russian Federation to the training camp of one of the units of the Russian occupation forces.

When they were given equipment and weapons, the Russian command informed the newly arrived personnel that they would be included in assault units and sent to the area of combat missions on the contact line in the near future.

Over 30 combat engagements took place in the frontline, the enemy launched 3 missile and 29 air strikes against Ukraine

Over the past day, there were more than 30 combat engagements between the Ukrainian Defense Forces and Russian troops.

The Russian army launched 3 missile and 29 air strikes, fired more than 70 multiple launch rocket systems at Ukrainian troop positions and populated areas. Russian terrorist attacks have resulted in civilian casualties and injuries, as well as destruction and damage to port infrastructure in southern Ukraine and residential buildings.

The likelihood of missile and air strikes throughout Ukraine remains very high.

In the areas of Rivnopol and Makarivka, Russian troops tried to regain their lost ground: situation in the different region of Ukraine 

On the northern Ukrainian border, situation remains unchanged. 

In the area of the northeastern border, Russians fired mortars and artillery at more than 35 settlements in Sumy and Kharkiv regions.

• In the Kupyansk direction, Russia launched an airstrike near Iziumske in Kharkiv region. 5 settlements in Kharkiv region came under artillery and mortar fire.
• In the Lyman direction, Russians conducted unsuccessful offensive actions in the area of Nadiya and launched an airstrike near Bilohorivka, Luhansk region.2 settlements in the Luhansk region and 4 settlements in the Donetsk region came under artillery fire.
• In the Bakhmut direction, Ukrainian defenders successfully repelled enemy attacks in the areas west and south of Klishchiiivka in the Donetsk region.The enemy army carried out airstrikes in the areas of Kurdyumivka, Bila Hora and New York in the Donetsk region. More than 10 localities suffered from artillery shelling in the Donetsk region.
• In the Avdiivka direction, under heavy fire from Russian aviation and artillery, Ukrainian defenders successfully repelled attacks in the area of Avdiivka. More than 15 localities came under artillery fire, in the Donetsk region.
• In the Mariinka direction, Ukrainian Defense Forces continue to hold back the Russian offensive in the vicinity of the town of Mariinka. The enemy fired at more than 10 localities, in the Donetsk region.
• In the Shakhtarsk Direction, under heavy fire from aviation and artillery, the Defense Forces liberated Staromayorske in the Donetsk region.In the areas of Rivnopol and Makarivka, Donetsk region, the enemy made an unsuccessful attempt to regain the lost ground. He fired at the 4 settlements of in Donetsk region.
• In the Zaporizhzhia and Kherson directions, Russian soldiers are focusing their main efforts on preventing further advance of our troops.

They conducted an air strike near Novoberislav, Kherson region. More than 15 localities came under artillery fire, in Zaporizhzhia, Dnipropetrovsk and Kherson regions. 

At the same time, the Ukrainian Defense Forces continue to conduct offensive operations in the Melitopol and Berdyansk directions, consolidating the achieved positions.

The Armed Forces of Ukraine hit Russia’s control center, 5 artillery pieces at firing positions and an electronic warfare station 

Thus, the aviation of the Defense Forces carried out 7 strikes on the areas of concentration of enemy personnel, weapons and military equipment, 1 on anti-aircraft missile systems and 1 on the enemy control point. 

Missile and artillery units destroyed 1 control center, 1 area of concentration of personnel, 5 artillery pieces at firing positions, 1 fuel and lubricant depot and 1 enemy electronic warfare station.

Ukrainian defenders also destroyed 8 enemy attack UAVs of the Shahed-136 type and 5 reconnaissance UAVs of the operational and tactical level.

• On July 27, the Ukrainian Armed Forces repelled several enemy attacks in the Kupyansk direction without losing ground, and in the Bakhmut direction our soldiers gradually moved forward. The fighting was quite fierce. The enemy was firing intensively. 

• On the same day, it became known that Ukrainian soldiers had liberated the village of Staromayorske in Donetsk region.
