The AFU General Staff reports this on Sunday, March 5.

There is a growing conflict within the top military leadership of the Russian Federation, caused by significant losses and a lack of real achievements on the frontlines.

"In February of this year, Putin awarded the commander of the Eastern Military District, Muradov, with the rank of colonel general for a report on the supposed "successes" of the 155th Marine Brigade in the Vuhledar region. However, Shoigu is now demanding that the general justify his rank by taking the city at any cost.”

According to the General Staff, the brigade leadership and servicemen are refusing to go on the offensive again and storm the well-fortified positions of the Armed Forces of Ukraine without any support or preparation.

Over the day, Russian troops launch 4 missile and 23 air strikes

Russia is focusing its main efforts on launching offensives in Kupiansk, Lyman, Bakhmut, Avdiivka and Shakhtarsk directions.

"Today, the enemy launched 23 air and 4 missile strikes, as well as more than 20 MLRS attacks. The threat of Russian missile strikes remains throughout the territory of Ukraine," the post states.

The situation on the northern and northeastern border with Belarus and Russia remains unchanged. Russian troops launched mortar and artillery fire at 2 settlements in the Chernihiv region, 7 settlements in the Sumy region and 6 more in the Kharkiv region

In the Kupiansk and Lyman directions, they fired artillery at 9 settlements in Kharkiv, Luhansk and Donetsk regions.

Ukrainian Armed Forces launch 10 strikes at Russia’s military positions

"Today, the AFU Air Forces launched 10 strikes on the Russian military personnel and equipment positions. Units of rocket and artillery forces hit 2 enemy command posts," the post says.
