The head of the Luhansk Regional Military Administration, Sergiy Gaidai, said that the Russians use the mobilized men from the LDNR as cannon fodder, when 20-40 "freshly mobilized" people die in each attack on Ukrainian positions
He spoke about this on the air of Espreso.TV.
"We observe that there is an accumulation of equipment and manpower of the invader. The only thing they are already running out of is the number of "freshly mobilized". Since each of their attacks or attempts to break through our positions ends with minus 20-40 "freshly mobilized" orcs. Because they don’t know how to fight, they are thrown like cannon fodder at our positions", Gaidai said.
Gaidai emphasized that despite unsuccessful attempts to attack Ukrainian positions, the enemy continues to withdraw reserves in order to create a large strike group of troops.
"All their attacks on our positions are unsuccessful. Nevertheless, the invader continues to collect reserves for the formation of a large strike group of troops. Before they start attacking our positions, the Russians intensify their shelling of the entire territory of the Luhansk region, controlled by Ukraine. The fighting in Rubizhne and Popasna does not stop", Gaidai added.
