Russians try to push Ukrainian troops in Serebryanske Forestry, Luhansk region – National Guard officer Doroshenko
Oleksandr Doroshenko, an officer in the National Guard of Ukraine, mentioned that the Russian forces in the Luhansk region are using artillery and initiating attacks with small groups of infantry from the towns of Chervona Dibrova and Kuzmyne
He stated this on Espreso.
"We are currently in the Serebryanske Forestry, working to fight the enemy. They are putting some pressure on us from the north, near Chervona Dibrova and Kuzmyne settlements. They use artillery and small groups of soldiers. It's tough, but we have control over the situation," explained a National Guard of Ukraine officer.
Oleksandr Doroshenko added that the enemy attacks the forest every day, not just our positions, but also with artillery, mortars, and tanks.
"The situation has been getting harder in the past few weeks, but we're holding our ground. First, the enemy uses artillery, and if they manage to take some positions, then groups of 10-15 soldiers try to capture our trenches. The enemy is quite close, about 50-80 meters away. Both sides are laying mines, so we're already having contact battles here," said Doroshenko.
