Russians take out of Crimea everything that could be useful for international tribunal
The Russian forces are using the Kerch bridge to try to take out everything that is valuable to them and everything that may be valuable to the international tribunal
This was stated by Natalia Humeniuk, head of the Joint Press Center of the Southern Defense Forces, on Espreso TV.
"So far, the Russians are using the Kerch bridge for its intended purpose - transportation and logistics. They are trying to take out everything that is valuable to them and everything that may be valuable to the international tribunal. That is, documents that confirm their illegal activities. They are evacuating from the peninsula as much as possible everything that can be used against them when Crimea comes under the control of Ukraine," she said.
Humeniuk added that family members continue to be taken away.
"Some of the military are trying to arrange vacations and leave in such a way that they can "get lost" somewhere and fly to any part of the Russian Federation away from the "military operation" in which they may unwittingly participate," the spokeswoman said.
The spokesperson also said that a large manoeuvre is underway on the territory of the Crimean peninsula.
"The Russians realise that we know the locations of the bases and are trying to disperse their assets. This applies to airfields, ammunition and fuel stocks. They have been taught something by the hits. They are trying to hide all this, in particular, by transporting some things from Sevastopol bays to Novorossiysk. From time to time, we record large amphibious ships that are obviously filled with certain property," she summarised.
