This was announced by the head of the Luhansk Regional Military Administration Sergiy Gaidai.

"Without taking into account yesterday's morning shelling, 9 residential buildings in Lysychansk were set on fire by the Russians, in Severodonetsk - 5 and schools, in Rubizhne - 1. A number of houses were damaged without ignition", he said.

According to Sergiy Gaidai, the Russians open fire with all types of heavy weapons.  If earlier in Lysychansk it was more or less calm compared to other cities of the Luhansk region, now each of the three main parts of the settlement was fired from artillery and hail.

"The number of destroyed houses was dozens. As well as the victims. Two people died, two children were in serious condition. Several injured and dead Lysychans could not be taken from the streets for hours. The total number of victims is still being established. Already in the evening in Severodonetsk there was a fire at school, and in Lysychansk at oil storage. For the speedy localization of the outbreak, a reinforced squad of rescuers was sent there", the head of the Luhansk RMA emphasized.

Sergiy Gaidai added that during the day on March 30, the Armed Forces of Ukraine repelled five Russian attacks in Luhansk and Donbas.

"In particular, the Ukrainian defenders destroyed 10 tanks, 18 armored and 13 auto vehicles, 15 artillery systems. Air defense units in the sky of the Ukrainian Donbas shot down one invader aircraft, three invader unmanned aerial vehicles and one cruise missile", he mentioned.
