This was announced by head of Zaporizhia Regional State Administration in a comment to Ukrinform.
According to preliminary data, Oleg Buryak stated that his 16-year-old son Vlad was abducted at a Russian checkpoint in Vasylivka. Young man was driving in a car moving as part of an evacuation column from Melitopol to Zaporizhia.
“It happened on April 8 at 11:22 at the checkpoint in Vasylivka. My 16-year-old son was driving a car with two women he knew and three young children. Everyone went to Zaporozhye. Convoy of cars was stopped by Russian military and they began to approach each one to check who was going where. They saw my son's phone and pulled him out of the car, "said head of Zaporizhia Regional State Administration.
According to witnesses, car was kept at the checkpoint for three hours. After that, all but 16-year-old boy were released. Acquaintances said that they begged to release Vlad, but in vain.
"They (the military) have tablets, and they found out that I was the boy's father. All this time we tried to solve the issue on our own, but it didn't work out, ”adds Buryak.
