Russians have been storming Avdiivka for almost entire day - city's military administration

He said this on the air of Espreso TV channel.

"It is difficult in the city and around Avdiivka. For almost a day the enemy has been trying to storm the city from the north and south. The situation is tense in the direction of Vodiane and Opytne, assault actions are ongoing," noted Barabash.

The head of the Avdiivka city military administration also added that Russian troops was firing at Ukrainian positions all night, and there were small arms battles around the city.

"The guys are holding on, but it is difficult. With the support of artillery, the enemy is throwing manpower in incredible numbers at the contact line. Yesterday enemy aircraft flew over several times. Over the last day the enemy fired 21 times at Avdiivka and over 250 times at the positions around the city," noted Barabash.
