Russians use banned K-51 aerosol grenades on the AFU positions near Vodiane, Donetsk region – General Staff

In the Donetsk region, invaders dropped non-lethal K-51 aerosol tear gas grenades from a drone on the Ukrainian positions

The Armed Forces repelled enemy attacks in the areas of 22 settlements

On February 7, the AFU repelled Russian attacks in the areas of Novoselivske, Chervonopopivka, Shypylivka and Bilohorivka of the Luhansk region and Verkhniokamianske, Fedorivka, Orikhovo-Vasylivka, Dubovo-Vasylivka, Spirne, Vyimka, Bakhmut, Krasna Hora, Paraskoviivka, Ivanivske, Chasiv Yar, Kamianka, Vodiane, Pervomaiske, Krasnohorivka, Avdiivka, Marinka and Bohoyavlenka of the Donetsk region. 

Ukrainian soldiers destroy an attack aircraft, a helicopter, and hit 2 Russian military positions

On February 7, the AFU launched 12 strikes on the Russian personnel and military equipment positions and 2 strikes on the anti-aircraft missile system positions.

The defenders destroyed a Russian SU-25 attack aircraft, a Mi-24 helicopter and 2 enemy Orlan UAVs.

The AFU hit 2 enemy control posts with artillery and missiles, 7 personnel positions and ammunition depots.

Russian soldiers steal civilian cars in Kherson region

In the settlement of Kairy, Kherson region, the Russian occupying forces take civilian cars by force.

Enemy troops keep attempting offensive in 5 directions

The enemy, attempting to take full control of the Donetsk and Luhansk regions, does not stop offensive operations in the Kupiansk, Lyman, Bakhmut, Avdiivka and Vuhledar directions, despite suffering significant losses, especially in manpower.

The Russians launch 8 missile and 21 air strikes on Ukraine in one day
On February 7, Russian forces launched 21 air strikes and 8 missile strikes, 5 of which hit civilian infrastructure in Kharkiv. 

The enemy launched 39 attacks from rocket salvo systems, damaging civilian infrastructure and residential buildings in Mykolaiv and Kherson regions.

The threat of Russian air and missile strikes remains throughout Ukraine.

Near the state Ukrainian border with Russia and Belarus no enemy offensive groups have been detected.

The areas of 3 settlements of Sumy region and 16 settlements in Kharkiv region were shelled. The occupiers used a UAV with a combat load in the Sumy region.

In the Kupiansk and Lyman directions, more than 40 settlements were affected by fire, 3 of them affected by Russian air strikes.

In the Bakhmut direction more than 30 settlements were shelled.

In the Avdiivka and Vuhledar direction, 8 settlements of the Donetsk region came under tank, mortar and artillery shelling. Russian air strikes were recorded near 3 of them.

In the area of the village of Vodiane, Russian invaders dropped K-51 non-lethal tear gas grenades from UAVs on our positions.

In the Zaporizhzhia direction, more than 30 settlements were affected by fire.

In the Kherson direction, 17 settlements were damaged by enemy fire. 

 
  • On February 7, the AFU Colonel Vladyslav Selezniov assumed that railway junctions and bridges across the Dnipro River, which are important for transporting necessary equipment for the Armed Forces of Ukraine, might be attacked by enemy rocket fire.
