Russians ‘erase’ Avdiivka just like they did with Marinka — city military administration

The head of the Avdiivka city military administration, Vitaliy Barabash, conveyed this on Suspilne.

He remarked, "The destruction of the local population continues. The city is being erased. Avdiivka is gradually turning into Marinka, which no longer exists."

Barabash highlighted that civilian areas, shelters, gathering spots, hospitals, volunteer stations, and water collection sites are being targeted by the invaders.

Contrastingly, the city administration head emphasized a notable shift: people who vowed not to leave are now evacuating. "Those who, perhaps, were waiting for some kind of arrival of the 'Russian world' saw that it was not worth it. Over the past week, 94 have left. 1,461 people remain in the city. Evacuation is ongoing."
