Russians build 7,000 sq.m. morgue in Mariupol - Andryushchenko, adviser to the mayor
Petro Andryushchenko, adviser to the mayor of Mariupol, reported that Russians had built a morgue in the city that could serve the entire Donetsk region.
He told it Espreso.TV live on air.
"Russians opened a very large morgue in Mariupol. I cannot answer why they are doing this. This very large morgue with an area of 7,000 square meters could serve the entire Donetsk region. Why they rebuilt it is not at all clear. Perhaps because they saw a large number of those who died at the beginning of the occupation, whom they just collected on the streets," Andryushchenko explained.
The adviser to the mayor of Mariupol added that there is a large shortage of electricity in the city.
"Next to the morgue, they built a diagnostic center with 69 beds. However, they built it a month and a half ago. It was opened very pompously, celebrated - and that's all. Now this center is not working. Because the power of electricity in Mariupol is limited," he added.
