Nova Poshta reported an attack on a sorting depot and one of its branches.

“There were no deaths or injuries among our employees,” the statement said.

The company added that the estimated value of all parcels that were destroyed as a result of the strike will be compensated to customers in full. “We will contact all recipients tomorrow. The parcels that were in transit have been redirected to the 3rd branch of Nova Poshta in Odesa,” they added.

According to the company's co-founder, Volodymyr Popereshniuk, all 18 people who were on shift managed to hide in the bomb shelter. He added that, according to preliminary data, about 900 shipments were affected. The company later added that it would provide psychological assistance to each employee who was on shift.

Later, Nova Poshta reported that 904 shipments worth UAH 3 million (over USD 75 thousand) were destroyed as a result of the nighttime attack on the depot and the emergency service branch in Odesa.

“Russian missiles destroyed not only our depot and branch but also 15.5 tons of your orders from online stores with clothes, appliances, children's toys, goodies for, medicines, parcels with care for relatives, etc. And according to the enemy, weapons were stored here,” the statement reads.
