Russian subversive group shoots at car in Chernihiv region, killing civilian man
On Wednesday, January 10, at about 5 am, a Russian subversive reconnaissance group shot a civilian car in the Semenivka community, killing a man
Suspilne reported the information, citing the head of the Novhorod-Siverskyi Military Administration Serhii Serhienko.
He noted that the attack took place between the villages of Hremyachka and Leonivka, with the Russian border being just half a kilometer away.
"There was information from the head of the community that the man had escorted his child to the bus heading to Semenivka and was returning to Kostobobriv when a subversive group attacked. Unfortunately, we lost the man in the incident," said the head of the Military Administration.
According to him, the deceased man was born in 1961. He worked as a school bus driver in the village of Kostobobriv.
In December 2023, the State Border Guard Service reported that Ukrainian border guards opened fire on a Russian sabotage and reconnaissance group moving from Russian territory towards Ukraine’s Sumy region.
