Russian guided bomb strike kills utility worker in Ukraine's Kupiansk
On May 23, the invading Russian army attacked Kupiansk in the Kharkiv region with a guided aerial bomb, resulting in one death
Oleh Syniehubov, head of the Kharkiv Regional Military Administration, reported the information.
"Around 9:20 a.m., the enemy shelled Kupiansk. Preliminary reports indicate that the Russian forces carried out the strike with a guided aerial bomb," he wrote.
According to him, two 60-year-old men were injured. They are employees of a local utility company.
Both were hospitalized in serious condition, but it was later reported that one of them died in the hospital.
"Unfortunately, one of the wounded utility workers could not be saved. Doctors did everything possible, but the man died. Doctors are currently fighting for the life of the second victim," Syniehubov wrote.
In April, the Russian troops attacked an ambulance with a drone in the Kharkiv region, injuring the driver.
