"The Russian attack caused a fire at one of Zaporizhzhia's infrastructure facilities. Preliminary reports indicate that there were no casualties," Fedorov noted.
He also reported that emergency services had arrived at the scene.
Power outage due to the attack
According to Zaporizhzhiaoblenergo, the morning attack by the Russian Federation caused a power outage for consumers in the city and a number of settlements in the region. Power supply to most of them has already been restored.
"As of 10:00 a.m., 6,600 residents of one of the districts of the regional center remain without electricity. Emergency recovery works are ongoing, and we are doing everything possible to restore power to the people as soon as possible," the company added.
