Russian forces deliberately target civilians in Pokrovsk community, Donetsk region
Pavlo Diachenko, acting head of communications for the Donetsk Regional Police, says that Russian forces are targeting the Pokrovsk community using guided aerial bombs, artillery, and FPV drones
He said this on Espreso TV.
"The situation is dire. Pokrovsk and Myrnohrad are under constant shelling, with the Russian forces using guided aerial bombs, artillery, and FPV drones. In the Pokrovsk district, it's even very difficult to move along the roads because the enemy is attacking with drones, destroying civilian vehicles with FPV drones," noted Diachenko.
The acting head of the communications department of the Donetsk Regional Police emphasized the treachery of the Russian actions, stating that these strikes are directly targeting civilians. "A drone operator cannot fail to see that they are striking a small passenger car. It’s impossible to confuse a civilian vehicle with military equipment. This means that the Russians are deliberately targeting civilians, injuring and killing them."
"Evacuation efforts from Pokrovsk and the surrounding community are in full swing. Forced evacuations are underway, and there are very few children left. We are working with families to evacuate all children as quickly as possible. Children should not be in a war zone!" Diachenko added.
