As a result of combat operations, Ukrainian defenders shot down 35 Shahed drones in Kirovohrad, Mykolaiv, Dnipro, Cherkasy, Odesa, Kherson, Khmelnytskyi, Vinnytsia, Kyiv, and Zhytomyr regions.

The Southern Defense Forces added that air defense units in the south had been intensively repelling a massive drone attack for more than 4.5 hours, which came from both the sea and the temporarily occupied part of Kherson region. A total of 20 UAVs were destroyed in the operational area, including 11 in Odesa, 6 in Mykolaiv, 2 in Kherson and 1 in Dnipro.

"The enemy was flying attack drones through residential areas and industrial districts of settlements, which complicated the work of air defense forces," the Southern Defense Forces noted.
