
Russian ballistic missile strike on Odesa port leaves two dead, multiple injured

The head of the Odesa Regional Military Administration, Oleh Kiper, reported the information.
According to Kiper, a port worker was killed in the attack, and eight more people were injured.
"Four people are in serious condition, two are in moderate condition, and two have minor injuries. Our doctors are giving them all the care they need and are fighting to save their lives," he added.
According to Oleksiy Kuleba, Vice Prime Minister for Reconstruction of Ukraine and Minister of Development of Communities and Territories of Ukraine, the Russian attack damaged the engine room, smashed windows and doors in administrative buildings, and destroyed vehicles and equipment.
“It was an usual working day in an ordinary Ukrainian port. People were working, equipment was reloading containers. There was not a single military facility, only civilian infrastructure. Russia has once again attacked a peaceful, strategically important facility that is important for the world's food security,” Kuleba emphasized.
He added that in total, during the full-scale war, Russia damaged and destroyed almost 400 port infrastructure facilities and more than 30 ships. 106 civilians were injured.
As of 6:38 p.m., Oleh Kiper reported that the death toll after the missile attack had increased. A 71-year-old resident of Odesa died in hospital from his injuries.
