Russian attacks kill 6 civilians, injure at least 22 others in Donetsk region on July 12
Since the beginning of the day on July 12, Russian troops have shelled Myrnohrad, Kostiantynivka, and Lyman in the Donetsk region. The attacks resulted in civilian deaths and injuries
Vadym Filashkin, the head of the Donetsk Regional Military Administration, reported.
He noted that as a result of Russian attacks, 22 people in the region were injured, including 9 casualties in Myrnohrad, 3 in Kostiantynivka, 7 in Lyman, and one in Chasiv Yar, Novomykolaivka and Leonidivka.
In addition, the Russian forces killed 4 people in Myrnohrad and 2 in Kostiantynivka.
According to Filashkin's preliminary information, as of the evening of June 12, there were two hits in Myrnohrad: near the administrative building and near a public transport stop. As of 6:20 p.m, there are 2 killed and 6 wounded.
Later, the National Police reported that Russian troops had struck Myrnohrad with two UMPB D-30SN bombs. Three men were killed on the spot, including a 42-year-old bus driver. A woman, born in 1983, died in the hospital.
A 16-year-old boy was among the wounded, as well as eight other people aged 20 to 62.
Eight apartment buildings, five private houses, four shops, two administrative buildings, two educational institutions, and a civilian car were destroyed.
Explosives experts, paramedics, a police investigative team, and all specialized services were on site.
Moreover, Kostiantynivka came under fire. There, the Russians hit the territory of the enterprise, killing 2 people and injuring 3.
At 6:55 p.m. Filashkin reported that the number of victims of the shelling of Myrnohrad had increased - 3 killed and 10 wounded.
In addition, the Russians dropped a bomb on Lyman, injuring four people. According to the head of the Donetsk Regional Military Administration, the bomb fell in the private sector, damaging houses and destroying cars.
