Russian army attacks Kharkiv with drone carrying nails
On May 1, the occupying Russian army attacked the Kyivskyi district of Kharkiv with a Molniya drone. Police found a bag of nails inside the drone
This was reported to Suspilne media by Petro Tokar, head of the Kharkiv region police.
The strike occurred at approximately 11:52 AM.
According to the officer, the occupying Russian forces are trying to inflict maximum harm on civilians.
"When the police and bomb disposal experts were inspecting the site, we discovered that a bag of nails was attached to the drone. In other words, the Russians are trying to cause maximum damage to the civilian population by using these crude methods — additional elements attached to the drone to harm as many people as possible," he said.
In total, over a span of two hours, the Russians struck the Kyivskyi and Osnovianskyi districts of Kharkiv with two Molniya type UAVs. Emergency services are working at the impact sites.
There is currently no information about casualties or damage.
Back in February, the Kharkiv City Council warned that the Russians were attacking Kharkiv and the surrounding region with Molniya drones containing metal pellets. Residents were advised to shelter behind walls.
