Russian aggression kills 537 children in Ukraine
As of March 28, 2024, 537 children were killed as a result of Russian aggression in Ukraine, and over 1,269 were injured of varying severity
This is reported by the Prosecutor General’s Office.
These data are not final. Currently, work is underway to establish them in the areas of hostilities, in the temporarily occupied and liberated territories.
Children in the following regions suffered the most:
- Donetsk - 524,
- Kharkiv - 343,
- Kherson - 149,
- Kyiv - 130,
- Dnipropetrovsk - 125,
- Mykolaiv - 103,
- Zaporizhzhia - 100.
Yesterday, March 27, 4 children aged three months to thirteen years were injured in the Russian shelling of Kharkiv. At the same time, a 13-year-old boy was killed in the attack on the village of Borova, Izium district, Kharkiv region.
- On Wednesday afternoon, March 27, Russian troops shelled a residential neighborhood in Kharkiv. As a result, 19 people were injured and one was killed.
