Russia shells Chuhuiv and Kupyansk, killing civilians, injuring 3-year-old child

On the night of March 7-8, Russian troops attacked the Kharkiv region. In Chuhuiv, 5 people were injured, including a three-year-old child. Two civilians were killed in Kupyansk

The head of the Kharkiv Regional Military Administration, Oleh Syniehubov, reported the information.

At 11:11 p.m., Syniehubov said that Russian troops used MLRS to shell Kupyansk. Two civilians, a man and a woman, were killed. Their identities are being established. 

Residential buildings were also damaged and a car caught fire. 

"The debris is being cleared," the statement said.

In Chuhuiv, a 17-year-old boy and a 37-year-old man were injured. Destruction was reported near a nine-story residential building, shops, a hotel, and about 13 cars were damaged. 

At 7:30 a.m., the head of the Kharkiv Regional Military Administration said that 5 people, including a 3-year-old child, were injured as a result of the strike on Chuhuiv. Three people were hospitalized. Two, including the child, were provided with medical assistance on the spot.
