Russia launches massive attack on Ukraine with over 650 drones, 30 missiles, killing civilians
During a massive attack that has been ongoing since the night of December 23, Russia launched over 650 strike drones and more than 30 missiles at Ukraine
Prime Minister Yulia Svyrydenko and President Volodymyr Zelenskyy reported the information.
Due to Russian actions, emergency blackout schedules are being forcibly implemented across the entire country. They will be lifted immediately after the situation in the energy system stabilizes.
In the Kyiv region, a woman was killed by a Russian drone strike. A fatality has also been reported in the Khmelnytskyi region. In the Zhytomyr region, a four-year-old child was killed when a Russian drone hit a residential building.
In total, at least 13 regions are under attack.
"Regional military administrations and all relevant services are already working to restore electricity to people as quickly as possible. All resources have been mobilized for this purpose," wrote Yulia Svyrydenko.
On Tuesday, December 23, Russians massively attacked Ukraine with drones and missiles: people were killed in the Kyiv, Zhytomyr, and Khmelnytskyi regions, including a child.
