Ukrainian Armed Forces Commander-in-Chief Oleksandr Syrskyi reported the information.

"Since February 24, 2022, the number of missiles used by the Russian army has reached over 13,300 units, and strike drones – over 142,300 units. In this context, our top priority is strengthening our air shield – obtaining air defense missile systems and ammunition, particularly those that can be provided by the American side," he stated.

Today, Syrskyi held a conversation with the Commander of U.S. Army forces in Europe and Africa – Commander of NATO's Allied Land Command, General Christopher Donahue.

During the dialogue, the Commander-in-Chief emphasized that from December of last year to early January 2026, the aggressor carried out six massive missile and drone attacks on Ukraine. Meanwhile, on the night of January 13, Russia attacked Ukrainian energy infrastructure and other civilian facilities with 25 missiles and 293 strike drones.

"At the same time, the enemy is resorting to massive missile and air strikes on our rear – deliberately targeting energy facilities, using freezing temperatures as an additional tool of pressure and terror against Ukraine's civilian population," he added.

  • On the night of Tuesday, January 13, the Russian army attacked Ukraine with 18 missiles and 293 drones. Air defense forces neutralized 247 enemy aerial targets.
