Russia fires over 30 missiles, 800 guided bombs at Ukraine in past week - Zelenskyy
President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy said that the Russian army had launched over 30 missiles and more than 800 guided bombs at Ukraine in the past week
He shared this information on his Telegram channel.
"The Russians have no geographical restrictions on the use of such weapons - since the first days of the full-scale war, the entire territory of our country has been under constant threat of attack," Zelenskyy said.
He also thanked partners for their assistance with air defense systems and combat aircraft.
"However, to truly end Russian terror, we need not only a comprehensive air shield to protect all our cities and communities but also decisive actions from our partners - actions that will lift restrictions on our defensive capabilities. When Ukrainian long-range capabilities face no limits, this war will definitely reach its limit - we will bring it to a close sooner," the President concluded.
- A Russian drone attack on the night of August 11 has killed a father and his 4-year-old son. They died under the rubble of their Kyiv region home. Several others were injured in the attack.
