This was reported by Vadym Filashkin, head of the Donetsk Regional Military Administration.

According to him, the Russian forces used a 500-kilogram aerial bomb in the attack.

Filashkin said that as of 8:10 p.m., two people had been killed and 22 injured.

As of 7:50 p.m., Filashkin clarified that one person was confirmed dead (earlier reports mentioned two fatalities), and 21 others were injured.

“Fifty-four retail locations, 304 apartments in 13 residential buildings, and eight vehicles were damaged,” the regional governor added.

As of 7 p.m., two people were reported dead and 14 injured.

"According to preliminary estimates, 30 retail locations, six apartment buildings, and eight vehicles have been damaged. It is likely that people remain trapped under the rubble — the search for survivors continues," said the head of the Regional Military Administration.

Earlier, Ukrainian Parliament Commissioner for Human Rights Dmytro Lubinets reported the information about the attack.

"Today, Russia dropped an aerial bomb on the center of Dobropillia in the Donetsk region—at an hour when people were returning from work. The strike hit the area near the Avrora store. There are dead and many injured," Lubinets stated.

According to the ombudsman, rescuers, medics, and military doctors are working at the site of the strike. He emphasized that the local hospital cannot accommodate everyone.

"This is yet another deliberate strike on civilians. Russia is a terrorist state that is waging war against peaceful Ukrainians and destroying lives even far from the front line. The world must finally recognize: terrorism will not stop on its own. Concrete decisions, increased pressure, and action are needed," Lubinets stressed.

  • Earlier, the founder of the Close the Sky of Ukraine Charitable Foundation, General, and Deputy Chief of the General Staff, Ihor Romanenko, reported that the Russian forces are transferring additional forces and equipment to the Pokrovsk direction and are trying to encircle Pokrovsk and Myrnohrad.
