Russia drops about 100 guided bombs on Ukrainian positions, frontline areas daily
Invading Russian forces drop about a hundred guided bombs on the Ukrainian troops’ positions and on frontline towns and villages every day
Ukraine's First Deputy Defense Minister Lieutenant General Ivan Havryliuk said this in a commentary to Interfax-Ukraine.
"The Kremlin continues its large-scale terror against Ukrainians. The enemy is changing the tactics of strikes, using various means of destruction in combination - all in order to inflict the greatest casualties and damage on us! Every day about a hundred guided aerial bombs are dropped by Russian terrorists on the positions of our troops and on the frontline towns and villages," said Havryliuk.
According to him, Russian terrorists most often use guided bombs weighing 250-500 kg.
Ivan Havryliuk noted that the Russian command understands that the gradual strengthening of the firepower of the Ukrainian Defense Forces due to the supply of weapons and equipment from partners, and the arrival of the first F-16 aircraft soon, reduces the chances of Russia's success on the battlefield.
That is why the aggressor is now trying to increase the intensity of hostilities in order to “push through the front line and exhaust Ukrainian troops to the maximum.”
- On June 22, the invading Russian army attacked Kharkiv at least 4 times, firing D-30 UMPBs at civilians. It struck a residential building and a production facility, resulting in deaths and injuries.
