Russia attacks Ukraine with Shahed drones overnight, strikes power facilities

On the morning of October 27, the Kyiv City Military Administration reported that Russia had launched another attack on the capital overnight. The air alert in Kyiv lasted nearly three and a half hours. Air defense forces detected about a dozen Russian drones approaching the city, but all were intercepted on the outskirts. Fortunately, there were no casualties or damage reported in Kyiv from the drone attack.
In the Sumy region, the Russian army targeted energy facilities in the Romny district with drones. The Sumy Regional Military Administration stated that all necessary services are working on the spot.
Additionally, the Cherkasy region was hit by Russian strikes last night. The Cherkasy Regional Military Administration reported that debris from one of the drones fell on an infrastructure site in the Uman district. Still, the fire was quickly put out, and there were no casualties.
