Russia attacks Krolevets town in Sumy region with missile, Shahed UAVs
On Sunday, January 7, 2023, Russia launched a missile and air strike on the town of Krolevets, Sumy region, located about 40 km from the border

The Sumy Regional Military Administration reported the information.
"Russian terrorists launched a missile and two Shahed-type UAVs at a peaceful Ukrainian town. Preliminarily, 23 private houses were damaged," the statement reads.
Information about the victims is being clarified.

As of the end of 2023, 3,726 people and about 700 children living in 19 settlements were evacuated from the border area of the Sumy region, which suffers from constant Russian shelling and subversive acts. The evacuation process is ongoing.
