Russia attacks Kalynove, Hirnyk in Donetsk region, killing three civilians
On May 1, the invading Russian forces shelled Kalynove and Hirnyk in the Donetsk region, killing three civilians and injuring at least 8 more
Vadym Filashkin, the head of the Donetsk Regional Military Administration, reported the shelling of Kalynove in the morning.
"One person was killed and 2 were wounded in the shelling of Kalynove of the Novohrodivka community," the statement said.
He noted that the settlement has been under severe shelling for the second day in a row. The day before, 1 person was killed there.
The head further remarked that the full ramifications of this morning's attack are still being assessed.
He emphasized that there are no absolutely safe places left in the Donetsk region.
In the afternoon, the Russian troops also attacked Hirnyk in the Donetsk region with Uragan MLRS, killing 2 people and injuring 6 more.
"It is currently known that a 57-year-old woman and a 64-year-old man were killed. The wounded are being provided with all necessary medical care," Vadym Filashkin wrote.
