The Main Directorate for Mine Action, Civil Protection, and Environmental Safety reported this information.
As of November 1, 2024, the report states that 1,068 people have been injured by Russian mines and unexploded ordnance, with 100 being children and 968 adults.

The groups most affected include:
- Farmers: 199
- Pensioners: 80
- Critical infrastructure workers: 112
- Drivers: 79
- Students: 90
Ukrainian law enforcement agencies initiate criminal proceedings for violations of the rules and customs of warfare by the Russian Federation following each explosion involving civilians caused by Russian mines.
- On September 20, it was reported that since the start of Russia's full-scale invasion, a total of 5,308 square kilometers of Ukraine’s territory have been surveyed and cleared of mines.
