Olena Zelenska thanks Melania Trump for support and appeal to Putin for peace

“I thanked Mrs. Melania for supporting Ukraine, especially for her attention to children who have become victims of Russia’s brutal war against Ukraine. In particular, for her letter — an appeal to Putin for peace for children. I deeply value that her heart is open to this issue, as well as to the well-being of children worldwide,” Zelenska wrote.

The Ukrainian First Lady expressed confidence that joint efforts will help all children in need of assistance.

“I am sincerely grateful to Melania Trump for today’s meeting and hope for further cooperation to protect what is most precious in the world — our children. Today their protection is not just a common cause, but a shared responsibility for our future,” she added.
