Dead and wounded, blackouts and hits: afthermath of Russian attack on Khmelnytskyi region

Two people were killed and 8 injured In Khmelnytskyi. A 21-year-old girl was rescued from the rubble of a residential building. Psychologists from the State Emergency Service and the National Police are working with the victims, the SES said.

"Unfortunately, we already have 5 wounded and 2 dead. My condolences to the families and friends. The good news is that a 21-year-old girl was rescued from under the rubble, and she had been in touch by phone for an hour and a half. She has been hospitalized and is receiving the necessary assistance," the Khmelnytskyi Regional Military Administration wrote.
At the same time, according to the Ukrainian Minister of Internal Affairs Ihor Klymenko, there were 2 dead and at least 8 wounded in Khmelnytskyi.

Earlier, the Khmelnytskyi Regional Military Administration reported that they were still looking for people under the rubble.
"Another enemy attack on Khmelnytskyi region. Critical infrastructure and residential buildings were damaged. All services are working. Unfortunately, we have wounded and one dead. We are looking for people under the rubble," the statement said.
At the same time, Khmelnytskoblenergo, power transmitting company, noted that as a result of the Russian attack, power grids were damaged in the region, and there were emergency power outages.
"Power engineers are promptly re-supplying consumers with emergency power supply. First of all, critical infrastructure facilities (hospitals, water utilities, boiler houses, etc.). Next, we will work to restore electricity distribution to all consumers," the energy company said.

Earlier, the mayor of Khmelnytskyi, Oleksandr Symchyshyn, wrote about the damage and casualties.
"It's a terrible morning. We have damage to infrastructure facilities. There are damages to residential buildings. There are dead and injured civilians. More details later," Symchyshyn wrote.
In addition, critical infrastructure facilities in Shepetivka community were damaged as a result of the Russian attack, said Mayor Vitaliy Buzyl.
"Repair crews are working to restore electricity and water supply. There are no casualties. Schools and kindergartens have been switched to remote mode. So, keep calm and do not ignore the air raid warnings," said Vitaliy Buzyl.
