Russian troops want to seize Avdiivka spoil tip and make bridgehead - Legion of Freedom

This was stated by the officer of the Legion of Freedom, Major of the Ministry of Internal Affairs Maksym Morozov on the Espreso TV channel.

"The situation in the northern direction is critical. The Russian army does not stop assaulting, it attacks, quickly replacing the infantry that is dying there. They are trying to seize the Avdiivka spoil heap to no avail, to use it as a bridgehead for an offensive against the coke plant and the village of Berdychi. They face a railroad there," Morozov said.

He spoke about the success of the Armed Forces in this area.

"Thanks to the Ukrainian Armed Forces, the enemy is being liquidated, their equipment is being destroyed. The expansion of the gray zone, which the invaders are trying to present as a success, is not actually the achievement of any result. It is only, let's say, an expansion of the battlefield," noted the Internal Affairs major.

According to him, the Russians are losing a huge amount of manpower and equipment due to the expansion of the gray zone.

"They can't get a foothold there. Therefore, we should not talk about any successes of the Russian invaders. I always try to assess Russia's actions as much as possible, because the enemy cannot be underestimated. I can say that they have suffered extremely heavy losses and have had almost no successes. These are the kind of neutral results that any side can pass off as their success," Morozov summarized.
