Russian troops try to seize control of front line near Bakhmut
Deputy Commander of the AFU's 3rd Detached Assault Brigade, Major Rodion Kudriashov, noted that the Russian forces are trying to regain their lost position around Bakhmut
He said this on the Espreso TV channel.
"Rains are starting to fall in the Donetsk region, which complicates any actions of the Ukrainian Armed Forces, as well as Russia's actions. There will be a pause due to weather conditions. The situation remains tense in the Bakhmut direction. Russia is trying to regain the lost ground and conduct assault operations, but to no avail," noted Kudriashov.
According to the deputy commander of the 3rd Brigade, the Russian troops are attempting to seize the initiative in the Bakhmut direction.
"The invaders are trying to take the initiative. This means control over the front line, control over the movement of reserves, control over artillery weapons. These actions are also ineffective on Russia's part. The situation is fully controlled by the Ukrainian Armed Forces," Kudriashov emphasized.
- Russian invaders are trying to surround Avdiivka in the Donetsk region. However, the Defense Forces repelled more than 20 attacks in this area and inflicted significant losses on them - 560 militants per day.
