Russia launches 33 air strikes and over 45 MLRS attacks on Ukraine in a day
Last night, on June 26, Russian occupying forces launched another missile and air strike on Ukraine. Information on the consequences of this terrorist attack is currently being clarified.
On June 25, the Russian army launched a missile attack on the territory of Ukraine, using 6 anti-aircraft guided missiles launched from S-300 systems against civilian targets in the Zaporizhzhia region.
In addition, it carried out 33 air strikes and over 45 MLRS attacks. The Russian terrorist attacks resulted in civilian casualties, damage to residential buildings, commercial and administrative buildings, and private vehicles.
The threat of missile and air strikes throughout Ukraine remains very high.
The situation in different regions of Ukraine
On the northern Ukrainian border with Belarus, the operational situation has not changed.
On the northeastern border with Russia, Russian troops launched an air strike on one settlement in the Kharkiv region.
They also launched mortar and artillery attacks, targeting a total of 29 settlements across Chernihiv, Sumy and Kharkiv regions.
In the Kupyansk direction, Russian troops launched an unsuccessful assault to the west of Kryvoshyivka, Luhansk region. They launched air strikes on 2 settlements and shelled 9 more.
In the Lyman direction, Russian troops launched an unsuccessful assault near 2 settlements and air strikes near Bilohorivka, Spirne, and 3 more settlements. Seven settlements across Luhansk and Donetsk regions came under artillery fire.
In the Bakhmut direction, Russian troops launched an unsuccessful assault near 3 settlements. They also launched air strikes near 2 settlements and shelled 8 settlements in the Donetsk region with artillery.
In the Avdiivka direction, Russian troops launched an air strike on Avdiivka.
They shelled 5 settlements with artillery.
In the Marinka direction, Russian troops launched an unsuccessful assault near Marinka.
They also launched an air strike near Krasnohorivka and shelled 3 settlements in the Donetsk region with artillery.
In the Shakhtarsk direction, Russian troops launched an unsuccessful assault near Novomykhailivka. They also launched air strikes on 2 settlements and shelled 7 others.
In Zaporizhzhia and Kherson directions, Russian forces’ priority is preventing the advance of Ukrainian troops.
They are trying to regain lost position near Novodarivka, Zaporizhzhia region.
Russian troops also launched air strikes on 2 settlements and shelled around 30 settlements across Zaporizhzhia, Dnipropetrovsk, Kherson, and Mykolaiv regions.
Ukrainian Armed Forces hit 10 Russian artillery units at firing positions, 2 control points and 3 more important targets
The aviation of the Ukrainian defense forces launched 8 strikes on concentrations of Russian personnel over the day.
Ukrainian missile and artillery units struck 2 control points, 3 concentrations of personnel and military equipment, 4 ammunition depots, an electronic warfare station, 10 artillery units at firing positions and 3 other important enemy targets.
Ukrainian troops also destroyed 6 reconnaissance UAVs of the operational and tactical level.
