On Sunday, January 1, Russian forces shelled the Orikhiv settlement in Ukraine's Zaporizhzhia region, killing one person and injuring 3 others

Oleksandr Starukh, head of the Zaporizhzhya regional military administration, reported on Telegram.
The attack took place at noon.
"New Year's greetings from Russia arrived in Orikhiv at noon. As a result, one person was killed and 3 were injured," the report reads.
On December 31, Russian forces shelled Ukraine: 50 people were injured and 2 people died due to Russian attacks.
