Russian troops shell at least 20 settlements in Zaporizhzhia region
On Sunday, April 23, Russian forces have shelled peaceful settlements in the Zaporizhzhia region. As a result, they damaged houses and premises of an agricultural enterprise
The head of the Zaporizhzhia Regional Military Administration Yuriy Malashko reported the information.
"A tense day has ended: the enemy attacked Orikhiv, Huliaypole, Rivne and 17 other peaceful towns and villages with various types of weapons," the head of the region wrote.
Russian troops launched 94 artillery attacks, 1 missile attack, 4 air strikes, 3 MLRS attacks and 10 UAV attacks.
More destruction of civilian infrastructure was reported. In particular, residential buildings of civilians in the Zaporizhzhia region suffered damage, as well as people's property.
In addition, there are reports of damage to the warehouses of an agricultural enterprise.

On the evening of April 21, Ukrainian air defense operated in the Zaporizhzhia region: the forces of the East Air Command in cooperation with the air defense of the National Guard of Ukraine destroyed four of the five Shahed drones.

Dmytro Kyrylchuk, a deputy of the Zaporizhzhia City Council, said that Russian forces continue to shell the civilian infrastructure of Zaporizhzhia's frontline communities, including Huliaypole and Orikhiv.
