Russian troops promised extra payment for every kilometer of advance in Ukraine, while Ukrainian Armed Forces destroy 2 Russian aircraft - AFU General Staff

The General Staff of the Ukrainian Armed Forces reported the information in its morning report on February 14.

Over the past day, Ukrainian troops repelled Russian attacks near Hryanykivka, Kharkiv region; Nevske, Kreminna, Kuzmine, Shipylivka and Bilohorivka, Luhansk region; Fedorivka, Paraskoviivka, Bakhmut, Vodyane, Marinka, and Pobieda, Donetsk region.

Ukrainian aviation launched 15 strikes on Russian personnel concentrations over the past day. Ukrainian defenders also shot down 2 Russian aircraft - Su-24M and Su-25.

Ukrainian missile and artillery units hit a Russian command post, 7 manpower concentrations, 2 electronic warfare stations, and an ammunition depot.

Russian soldiers are promised cash bonuses for every kilometer of advance on Ukrainian soil

To motivate the personnel to advance, Russian units are told propaganda about daily allowances for participation in assault operations. 

Also, an additional payment was announced for each soldier per kilometer of advance on Ukrainian soil.

One of the Russian units in the Luhansk region has been obliged to carry a shell casing with a piece of paper with soldier’s information in their chest pocket

Due to the lack of metal tokens with a personal number that can be used to identify the body of a fallen soldier, the leadership of the 20th Army units operating in the Luhansk region has ordered the personnel of the units to carry a shell casing with a piece of paper in their chest pocket.

On this piece of paper, each Russian occupier must write down information about himself, his personal number, etc.

In Moscow, scientists are being subjected to mobilization campaigns

Thus, in Moscow, mobilization campaigns for scientists have begun. In particular, the staff of the Polyus Research Institute, which is Russia's leading research center in the field of laser technology, was educated about social guarantees and benefits for mobilized persons.

Russia launches 2 missile and 32 air strikes against Ukraine in a day

On February 13, Russian forces launched 2 missile, 32 air strikes and 55 MLRS attacks.

The threat of strikes by the Russian Federation remains high throughout Ukraine. At the same time, the Ukrainian air defense system is continuously being strengthened.

Russian troops are  attacking in 5 directions, suffering losses

Russia continues to focus its main efforts on conducting offensive operations in the Kupiansk, Lyman, Bakhmut, Avdiivka and Vuhledar directions. It suffers significant losses. 

The Armed Forces of Ukraine are taking additional measures to strengthen their defense.

The situation by directions

On the northern and northeastern border with Belarus and Russia, no signs of enemy offensive groups were detected. 

Russian troops are conducting combat exercises at Belarus’ training grounds. 

Over the past day, 1 settlement in the Chernihiv region, 5 in the Sumy region and 4 more in the Kharkiv region came under Russian fire.

In Kupiansk and Lyman directions, Russian troops fired with tanks, mortars and artillery at 13 settlements in the Kharkiv region, 6 in the Luhansk region and 3 in the Donetsk region.

In the Bakhmut direction, Russian troops launched mortar and artillery attacks at 9 settlements in the Donetsk region.

In Avdiivka and Vuhledar directions, 11 settlements near the contact line in the Donetsk region came under tank, mortar and artillery fire. 

In the Zaporizhzhia direction, 2 settlements in the Donetsk region, 10 in the Zaporizhzhia region, and 2 others in the Dnipropetrovsk region came under fire.

In the Kherson direction, Russian troops once again fired mortars, cannon and rocket artillery at civilian objects in Kherson city and the town of Antonivka, Kherson region.

• Earlier, the General Staff of the Ukrainian Armed Forces reported that there are more cases of mobilized Russian servicemen who refuse to go on the offensive in units attached to the 1st Army Corps of the Southern Military District.
