Russian troops launch 7 missiles and 16 air strikes on December 7

The threat of Russian missile strikes on energy system facilities and critical infrastructure throughout Ukraine remains in the future.

Over the past day, the units of the Defense Forces repelled the attacks of the Russian forces in the areas of Ternova in the Kharkiv region; Stelmakhivka, Ploschanka, Chervonopopivka and Bilohorivka in the Luhansk region and Bilohorivka, Berestove, Yakovlivka, Bakhmutske, Bakhmut, Opytne, Kurdyumivka, Mayorsk, Maryinka and Novomykhailivka in Donetsk region.

In the Volyn and Polissya directions, the situation is without significant changes. There are no signs of the Russian offensive group's formation.

In the Siversky direction, the Russian forces carried out artillery and mortar attacks on the settlements of Khrinivka and Hremyach in the Chernihiv region and Novovasylivka, Ulitsa, Chernatske and Seredina-Buda in the Sumy region.

In the Slobozhansky direction, areas of the settlements of Udy, Veterynarne, Starytsia, Ohirtseve, Vovchanski Khutory, Ambarne, Bolohivka, Dvorichna and Kamyanka in the Kharkiv region were shelled with tanks and artillery.

In the Kupyansk direction, the enemy is defending. He shelled the areas of the settlements of Kupyansk, Syn'kivka, Kyslivka, Kotlyarivka, Tabaivka, Krokhmalne, Berestove and Pershotravneve in the Kharkiv region and Stelmakhivka and Andriivka in Luhansk region.

In the Liman direction, the enemy recorded fire damage to Hrekivka, Makiivka and Ploschanka in the Luhansk region and Terny, Dibrova and Hryhorivka in the Donetsk region.

In the Bakhmut and Avdiivka directions, the Russian forces do not give up trying to go on the offensive. The settlements of Verkhnekamianske, Spirne, Bilohorivka, Soledar, Bakhmutske, Bakhmut, Klishchiyivka, Kurdyumivka, Druzhba, Zalizne, Pervomaiske, Nevelske, Krasnohorivka, Maryinka and Novomykhailivka of Donetsk region were shelled with tanks, mortars, cannon and missile artillery.

In the Kherson direction, the Russian forces conducted defensive actions and strengthened the troops' group. Artillery damage to more than 15 settlements near the contact line was recorded. Zolota Balka, Kachkarivka, Lvove, Tokarivka, Inzhenerne, Antonivka and Dniprovske of the Kherson region are among them. The island of Bilohrudyi and the cities of Kherson and Mykolaiv also came under fire.
