Russian troops kill 2 residents of Donetsk region, injure 8 in 24 hours
During the day, Russia has been shelling 9 communities in the Donetsk region, damaging houses, a school and an enterprise: 2 people were killed and 8 injured

Russia killed 2 residents of the Donetsk region: civilians in Toretsk and Krasnohorivka. Eight civilians were injured in Toretsk, Kostyantynivka and Bakhmut.
In total, since the beginning of the full-scale invasion, Russia has killed at least 1,414 residents of the Donetsk region and injured 3,218.
However, the administration emphasizes that the data is not final, as "it is currently impossible to establish the exact number of victims in Mariupol and Volnovakha."
Later, the Donetsk regional administration reported on the situation in the region as of March 17.
Donetsk direction:
Over the day, Russian troops shelled 4 communities in the Donetsk direction: in Kurakhove community, a colony building was damaged; in Marinka community, Marinka and Krasnohorivka came under fire; in Ocheretyne community, Krasnohorivka, Kamianka, Severne and Vodiane were shelled.
In the morning, Russia launched an air strike on Avdiivka, no casualties occured.
Horlivka direction:
Russian invaders shelled Kostyantynivka with cluster munitions in 2 waves, injuring 6 people and damaging at least 19 houses, a school and an enterprise.
"1 person was killed and 1 injured in Toretsk, 1 person injured and 5 damaged high-rise buildings in Bakhmut. In the Soledar community, 5 houses in Fedorivka and 5 houses in Vasiukivka were damaged, it was loud in the Chasiv Yar community," the administration said.
Lysychansk direction:
The outskirts of Siversk community, as well as Torske and Zarichne settlements of the Lyman community came under fire.

Earlier this morning, the General Staff of the Ukrainian Armed Forces reported that Russia launched 5 missile and 18 air strikes against Ukraine over the past day, injuring 6 civilians and damaging more than 20 houses, a school and other civilian infrastructure.
