According to the Deputy Minister of Defense, Russia still has plans to capture and destroy Ukraine, and this is its strategic goal in the war.

"At the same time, the enemy is currently focusing its main efforts in the east of Ukraine and is trying to reach the administrative borders of Donetsk and Luhansk regions. However, they have not succeeded for several months in a row," emphasized Hanna Maliar.
