Russian troops fire at least 10 shells at Nikopol district
On the night of January 9, at least a dozen shells from heavy artillery were fired by Russian troops at peaceful towns of Nikopol district

Valentyn Reznichenko, head of the Dnipropetrovsk Regional Military Administration, reported the information.
"Night terror in the Nikopol district does not stop. Russian troops shelled the area twice with heavy artillery," the head wrote.
Most affected were Chervonohryhorivka and Marhanets communities that have suffered from at least 10 Russian shells.
No civilians were reportedly injured. The consequences of the strikes are being investigated.
"In other districts at night the air raid alert warned about the danger, but there were no attacks. And, at the moment, it is calm in the region," added Reznichenko.
- On January 4, Russian troops shelled the Nikopol district, Dnipropetrovsk region. As a result, a man received a severe chest injury.
- Nikopol suffered from new attacks in the evening of January 4 and at night on January 5. Also, the man who was severely injured the day before died in the hospital.
