Russian troops change into civilian clothes and prepare for street fights in Kherson - Ukrainian Armed Forces General Staff

The General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine reports on Facebook.

"According to the available information, a significant part of the population has left Kherson. Russian occupying forces who remained in the city change into civilian clothes and move into abandoned apartments. They prepare for street fights" - General Staff said.

As of October 21, Russian occupying forces are trying to free the premises of Kakhovka Hospital from patients and medical personnel.

In Energodar in the Zaporizhzhia region, Russian soldiers are looting abandoned apartments and hotels where they lived.

General Staff added that more than 20 settlements near the contact line were shelled by Russians in the Southern Bug direction. Among them are Novovoskresenske, Myrne, Davydiv Brid and Novohredneve.

At the same time, on October 20, Ukrainian Defense Forces shelled a Russian repair base and equipment in Nova Kakhovka, Kherson region.
